When shopping for your gardening needs, look for this symbol

We offer a 100% exchange or store credit for in-store items that are found to be defective.
These items must be returned, with the sales receipt within 5 days of purchase.
The guarantee for plant material is a two-way street.
When you purchase plants from us, these plants have been loved and cared for. These plants are in excellent condition at time of purchase when you take them home.
They are now your “babies” and we have no control over what you do with these plants
After purchase it is up to you, the new “parents”, to take care of these live plants you just purchased.
Plants are like people and require care, especially when they are just planted.
- Different plants require different conditions (wet, dry, sun, shade, exposed, sheltered, etc.) These conditions must be met for proper growth and survival.
- Plants need to be planted properly (not too deep), in good topsoil, and fertilized with the appropriate fertilizer at time of planting.
- Plants need to be watered properly after planting and during periods of drought (deep watering to get moisture to the root system), or maybe not watered when conditions are extremely wet. (check your irrigation system, make sure your plants don’t drown).
- Follow planting instructions for proper planting.
Plants that have survived for several years prior to purchase, do not die suddenly, unless they have not been taken care of, or were not handled properly.
If plants are not planted right away, place them in a sheltered shady spot and keep them moist. This may be a daily task, depending on the weather.
If you decide to go away for a period of time during the hot summer months, make sure to instruct someone to take care of your newly planted plants.
All the above to tell you, yes, we do stand behind the plants that you purchased from us, as long as you have taken care of them properly. There is no reason for a perfectly healthy plant to die unexpectedly.
We will guarantee a plant if the plant succumbs for no apparent reason during the first growing season in your garden.
This does not include damage done during the growing season that is beyond our control.
Such as: Lawnmower and weed eater damage, human or animal damage, gasoline or other chemical damage, fire, flood, sewer, chlorine from pools, abnormal severe weather conditions, and other factors beyond our control.
This does not include the winter months. Winter kill, rodents, damage by heavy loads of snow piled on them, stepping on them, salt damage, driving on them, snowplough and/or snowmobile damage, abnormal severe weather conditions, and other factors beyond our control.
Annuals, bedding plants, potted/patio planters, hanging baskets of any kind, tropical and houseplants, herbaceous perennials plants, and roses, are not covered by our guarantee.
If all the conditions are met for us to replace, or give store credit for the plant in question, you will be required to bring the following:
- The diseased plant
- The original check out receipt
